I'm planning on using a different solution for my video capture needs.)
(Note that I do not plan to use this card for video capturing, simply for TV viewing. I'm not thrilled with the software included with the new card, especially since it does not appear to be able to display in a window. Specifically, I'm looking for an app that will allow me to view TV broadcasts (cable, in my case) in a window on the desktop, ala ATI's MMC (which, I believe, does not work with this card) which I'm currently using on my current ancient system that's equipped with an ATI AIW Radeon 8500DV. I recently purchased Diamond's ATI Theater HD 750 PCI-E tuner card for a new PC I'm building, and I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for TV viewing software. Moderators, please move this thread to a more appropriate forum if you deem it necessary.) Concurrent tuning of 2 channels from one single device is not working.(Not sure where exactly this should be posted, as it doesn't seem to fit in any of the specialized categories.It automatically assigns found channels to all available DVB-IP cards (until the supported number of tuners by the AVM device).It does a channel scan using DVB-IP cards.m3u channel lists will be downloaded from detected devices, then processed for proper scanning The plugin detects available FritzBox/Repeater devices in your local network using UPnP/SSDP.And also AVM does not fully support it yet (at least on the WLAN Repeater).
TVE3 also does not yet support the "Sat>IP" standard.Some additonal comments and the kind of pid filtering in the URL prevent a successful channel scan. By default, those playlists are not completely supported by TVE3.The AVM web configuration allows to scan channels and provide channel lists (.m3u) for HD, SD and Radio channels. The AVM FritzBox Router 6490 and the WLAN Repeater DVB-C provide a nice feature: they have inbuilt DVB-C tuners (2 / 4) that allow streaming of TV and radio channels.This is a new plugin for the current "TV Engine 3", which is the version of both main products MP 1.16 and MP 2.1.
